Absolute Anime

The Gokusen -- It's a comedy about a young woman raised in a Yakuza clan. She ends up being the clan leader ...... AND a highschool math teacher.

Doesn't top my list of favorites but it was amusing.

Cowboy Bebop also has crime syndicate ties. it's not a constant thing but it's the one of the main plots of the story.

Add Noir to the list. Mafia, Triad, Secret Societies, Assassins, Mystery. Great show!!!!!

Not agents. Assassins for hire. Mystery surrounds their origins.

They aren't French but much of the action takes place there.

Oh yea thats how it was. Long time i seen that one ^^ Right now im busy with downloading the whole ''Outlaw Star'' serie. I heard its extremely good! So ill see in about....3-4 hours
