but after shinji decides the fate of humanity at the end of rebirth he strangles her and she wakes up and says pitaful then it roles to the credits...

Ok Here's what I know for sure Asuka is not Kate Rose, Kate Rose is the name of the costume designer who designed Asuka's plugsuit. Someone saw her name on the sketch and jumped to a conclusion as for Rei/Ray, it's not like we're going to be reading the movie.

I wouldent be to worried if I were you guys after all there all rumors as of now and maybe the whole movie will be CG and if HARYY POT HEAD plays the part of shinji the world will end and hell will freeze over the fans of the series wont let that happen!
