I like Misty because she doesn't take any insults from anyone. I think that kind of spunk is cool...maybe because I have the same amount of spunk.

Maybe Brocks' realised you cannot win battles with just one type of Pokemon.

that's not completely true you could win with they same type as long as you never went up agianst your weakness

Wasn't Brocks actual dream to become a Pokemon breeder? It was, unless I'm very much mistaken. That means he'd probably have to work with different types of Pokemon so would be catching different types, probably to gain experience.

Yes, he does specialise in Rock Pokemon. He WAS the Pewter City Gym leader to support his family after all. But he does have other types, (Zubat and Vulpix are the first to spring to mind)
