The manga is cool, though I pretty much prefer the anime series. Plus, they did a totally different ending in the manga and tons of other characters were introduced.

a few examples of manga differences.
on the show, zazie the beast was a child who controlled beasts(sand worms mostly)
Wolfwood shoots him, and he's dead.
in the manga, zazie turns out to be a swarm of bugs and reforms into the shape of teenage girl.
Also, a character too bizarre for the show.
Elendira the Crimsonnail.
iron nails.
airship pilot for legato.
transvestite.
The people working on the tv show apparently thought she was too inappropriate for their target audience.

PS- please people, no questions about the manga, as I pointed out, it is much different and I have only done enough research to peak my own interest.
feel free to ask show related q's though.

kinda been on and off over the years just recently got a DVR so I can record those late night Adult Swim episodes. And also am trying to make Wolfwood for MUGEN too

i dont care much for the manga, i think the show is great, its one of my favorite anime, i do have a question thought, i understand pretty much everything about the entire series axcept exactly where Vash and Knives came from, im guessing they were created byt the humans on the SEEDS ship from one of the power plant things, but thats just my theory, does anyone know for sure?
