Inu means dog and Yasha means half human and half yokai. It tells about what it means in the Inuyasha series.

But you can loosley know he is a dog demon!
Inu= dog Yasha= female demon
So what his mother named him or maybe that what they wanted it to be...? Someone back me up on this?

Thanks, Sakaki-San!I'm nervous about Yellow belt testing is you were wondering,anyway, I always thought of Sesshoumaru's demon form to look more like a wolf than a dog.
