An athiest is a person who firmly believes in no God's or deities. That's not to say they lack purpose. Purpose is life itself; not something out of life which does not exist.


Now that's cleared up I'm out. This has gone past the stage of sharing ideas to repitition; it's futile.

purpose is life itself? that doesn't say anything. what is your purpose in life? i am not talking about your dream and ambition. it is something that is assigned to you, rather than what you assign to urself. most people, they are just surviving... until they die. whats the point of being a human being in the first place? Wake up, go to work, come back, sleep. do you even know why you are on earth, and existing? is it just your fate that you actually have a mind on earth, to think about all this?

lol, yeah. if thats how you see it. might as well ignore everything around you as well. instead of being like everyone else and making "excuses", you should actually listen carefully. the world of science IS crap, but which side of it really is crap? its time people stop throwing their flags around so easily where ever they want. Its between life and death, and the differences between that is just a choice.

but to answer your question, i belive in a god, but above that i belive in the power of the human spirit and mind, we as a race were put here for a reason, some think it a test to sort out the good from the bad in the after life, some think its to move up the karmic chain and reach nirvana, or to uptain enlightenment, everybody has theyre own interpretation of what the goal of life is, most see that goal as self betterment now-a-days.

a definate answer to the question of "does a god exist" will never have a definate answer, and until there is one, people will strive to improve on everything. generations will come and go, but one thing will remain the same, the universal want to improve, and we each will add to that one way or another in our life times, you just need to see the big picture

anyway blackheart. isn't this world runned on science? the eagerness to find out how everything in this damn world works. what you say is interesting, but then again what you say is also just your beliefs likewise.

the only instrument we can use to determine what we cannot see, is science. science HAS determined the existance of God, or rather eliminated the theory of evolution.. if u have no definite answer to your belief, then why are u believing what you are believing? this thing about purpose is so deep, we are all just in denial about this. no one really knows. yea. no one knows anything. all that is said now is just crap. all those reason u stated are just fantasy of our human mind, there is no third party involved in it. just our own eagerness to fill up our own void.

philosophy is crap. But once you hit the right button, fill the void with what it was meant to be filled with, you will understand what true enlightenment is, it is not of the world.

we are all created with certain gears, and this world together with us. We are all dependant on the world, the world dependant on us. Every living thing and micro orgranism exist in such a way. if u think things are improving, your wrong. It is getting worse. what man does is just ruin everything. thx to our "intelligence", now we are telling ourselves what to do, and screwing up in the process. we are our own Gods now, and that is stupid. cant you see how everything in this world exist??
