In the Atom saga Dr. Gero creates Atom (Cell's brother) who goes for Gohan seeking revenge.

After been destroyed by Android 17 a backup copy of Dr. Gero was created, he then flys to his lab and starts to create a powerful android named Atom.

This android has one thing on it's mind and one thing only, and that's to get revenge on the one that destroyed his brother Cell. When he wakes up he kills Dr. Gero (He will never learn ) and flys off. He goes to the nearest city and absorbs everyones atoms.
