Well, I'm glad that I'm not the only one that noticed that Light didn't seem as smart after he gave up the death note.

No, I said that he became naive and seemed to be less intelligent.

Mehhhh. Ok, like this:
Light after he lost his memories: dumbass/naive
Light after he becomes the second L: arrogant

You want to know who I thin is a dumbass? The rest of the task force squad. There are so many times when they should be suspisous of Light that they aren't. Hell, they only become suspect to Light's doing after Near tells them of Lights doings.

One big clue is his voice. He changes it based on certain things. An example would be when mobs of people where rushing Near's building. Lights voice sounded like he was enjoying the prospet of Near's death. Don't you think that the other members of the task force would find it odd for Light-L to take joy in the death of someone that could help them find Kira (Granted, Light is Kira, so he didn't care, but the others didn't know that).

Another clue is his face. When Near said that the 13 day rule was fake, and Light agreed, Light's face was a look of anger. Wouldn't anger at this bit of news be odd? But no, the task force still suspects nothing due to this face. They only have even the smallest hint of suspection to Light because of his prison sentance.

There's more, but I'm tired of typing right now.

Yes, yes it's true. They are complete dumbasses. Notice how they never look at Light's face when Light's face would give them clues that he is kira.
