True, Kisara is boring - but she plays an important role in the story line

I don't think they suit <i>perfectly</i> - but Seth does have feeling for her - and she appreciates him.

kisara is the spirit of the Blue Eyes White Dragon
in the last serie the anime included the story about the Blue Eyes, motivating Seto's obsession for that card;
When Seto was a kid he rescued a girl that people thought to be weird and dangerous because the spirit of the Blue Eyes was sealed in her body, and also she had white hair and blue eyes
When Seto becomes Priest he meets again with Kisara and saves her from a bunch of people who were throwing rocks at her
Master Aqnadin(Seto's dad) wanted to kill Kisara so that he could seal her spirit in stone...Seto does not agree to this, tries to run away with Kisara...
but still she dies protecting him from Aqnadin.
Sad isn't it?
