The japanese version of onepiece is better I believe. Havent watched the dubbed version though... I have only watched subs..

The Toonami English version of One Piece is not terrible, though some people think it is. However, if you drink coffee, perhaps the original would be more suitible. If you have internet access, which you clearly do, you can watch the Japanese One Piece with subtitles on

-you should definitely switch to one piece. the show gets much cooler as it gets farther into the storyline.
-the episode you saw was in the third or fourth arc, which is based around Nami, one of the main characters and her past.
-one piece is about Luffy and hhs crewmates as they search for the ultimate treasure, One Piece. they're pirates that sail around the world from place to place and encounter more difficult challenges. New crewmates and villains appear along with new twists. The storyline is interesting and gets better in later episodes.
