First off, being provoked is not an excuse. If you think it is, you need to read over the forum rules again.

Next, you weren't singled out. There were others who were inappropriate too. Some I ban, some I suspend, and some I warn, depending on the severity and whether or not I had previously warned them to watch their content.

Finally, you may not be aware of this, but everything that is typed in the chat area is stored in the database, at least temporarily. This includes all private conversations. So I didn't just get a small part of the chat, I got to see everything that was said since you logged in.

You say you've changed, but how am I to believe that when you also say you don't know why you were suspended?

Provoking does damage. Is it right for a dog to be put to sleep for biting a kid who was teasing him? He shouldn't be put to sleep in my own opinion.

Behaving yourself on a forum really isn't that difficult ya know. I mean, it's not like the other users are talking to you in person if they insult you or say something rude.

If someone were to start flaming me I'd try to solve the problem myself. I'd call a moderator only if the other user refuses to stop.

It's not hard (for me) to show them that they are unintelligent twits or just ignore them. I don't find it too hard to do especially since you aren't talking in person.
