If Sesshomaru saved me, I would be both thrilled and extremely fearful of him. I'd love the fact he saved me, but at the same time I would question his motives. If he wanted something from a human, I can imagine it would be something to benefit himself and may be hazardous to the human in question. Thus I'd have to allow my common sense to override my desire to sound like a fan girlish idiot and start speaking with him.
