In love with Jasper here.

Seriously, why does everyone think this is such an amazing, drop all else book? Even when my book group read it, everyone but me gave it a 10 or higher and I went, "Ehhh, 8.2460369." I just don't see much of the huge attraction. It's good, but not spectacular.

Aw, yay a Jasper fan! ^_^ He's my second favorite character.
I think it's because of Edward. He's a bit of a rash idiot, but if Twilight were a manga he'd be the bishonen hero in an otherwise boring shojo manga. True, the actual writing's not that great and all, but the scenes with Edward make it all worthwhile and I find myself reading through pages of boredom just to get to such a scene.
At least that's how I see it based on the behavior I've seen of all the other girls in my school that have read the book. ^_^; It's always, "Edward, Edward, Edward!" (sometimes "Jacob! Jacob! Jacob!" after seeing the guy that's gonna play him in the movie) and complaints against Bella. :heh:

Haha well said Ko Yue!

Lol at 8.2460369. :heh:

Well the first few chapters of the book never got me really interested but when Edward popped in, that's when i got really into the book. I wonder if that's how it is for everyone else..

Even if the library did, I would still take forever for me to be first in the reservation line. -_-" I'm pretty sure one of my friends has it. And if they don't, a few girls I know are bound to have it.
