Hahaha sometimes I dod the same thing! XD I listen 'Kira' and I remember of Death Note's Kira. XDD

Same here. As a matter of fact, I've seen some real life Japanese with the name Kira as their first name.

I agree with you Yoruichi, Light and L are a lot alike except for the one key difference of their view of "justice"

I actually like Light. While most may call him "evil". I think he had the right idea. In the series all of the wars ceased, crime was at an all time low because for once the potential had death to fear, and the common good-hearted working man could live an honest life without the fear of criminals. How many tragedies do you see happen in the news daily. The front page news of all national and local newspapers have turned into obituaries, littered with the stench of evil deeds and the foul product of the malicious actions of awful people. Just like in the series I think in a way we all wish there was some way we could be protected from evil individuals. The courts, police and government do a horrible job of it. If they did then we wouldn't have hundreds of thousands of homicides every day, or thousands of rapes, children getting abducted and never heard from again, robbery every single day.

At the end of the series what Yagami Light inferred was right. Since the world had changed so drastically due to his actions, the world had already embraced Kira and his justice, most in a positive way. Who knows how long the world stayed free of crime after Light died. One thing is certain though, he definitely made a serious mark.

But you see, Light didn't just stop at criminals. He murdered innocent FBI agents just trying to do their jobs, Naomi Misora because she could lead to his capture. Anyone who had a firm grasp on their version of justice wouldn't kill someone because they were doing their job or they could lead to his capture. Light didn't have a firm sense of justice in my opinion. But hey, everyone's different and it seems as if Light's army is growing...
