Hi Hi's everybody!! it took me a while to scope this one out but I found it!
I am the the biggest Gravitation freak I know *out of 8 people that's saying something* I love the manga so much. The anime is okay but If I had to choose I would deffiently choose the manga because there is just so much more detail. The anime is nice because you can put voices to the faces when you read the manga *You don't want to know what Yuki's english seiyuu looks like *I think I spelt Seiyuu wrong lols!* He's totally gross!!!* I personally think that Ryan Alosio (seiyuu for Larva, VPM English TV version) would have done a better job, but beggers can't be choosers!lols! I hate that saying. Anyway I agree that it doesn't matter who you are in love with, I myself am bi-sexual and my friends don't have a problem with it. At first it was a little awkward because it's a new situation but they know I would never do anything creepy...unless they asked me too j/k lols!.
I agree that Gravitation should have it's own forum. It is one of the most popular Shounen-ai/Yaoi anime/manga out there. On my scales though Fake is tied with Gravitation in the number one spot just because Dee reminds me so much of myself. Fake is so awsome if you guys haven't read/watched the OAV/Mangas you deffiently should. It's CSI Meets Gravitation! it's sweet! and I don't even really like CSI!lols! It takes a while to get used to it but all new manga's do. Sorry! I get on rants like that sometimes! lols! back to Gravitation.
The anime was rather dissapointing actually I mean sure once the shock that I actuyally posessed all four of the DVD's and could hold them in my arms and sleep with them...uh....I only did that like four times okay! leave me alone!!! anyway once that wore off and I had time to sit down and analize them *I like to analize things. I'm nit picky I guess you could say* I found that they just weren't better than the manga. over par at most. I mean come on, Yuki is such an Ice queen in the anime, very unlike his manga self who is more crude and witty as opposed to practically Bi-polar.
He makes jokes about Shuichi and he's just so much better in the manga than in the anime. He sure is prettier in the anime though...gotta give him that one thought! Whoo! I am very fond of Shuichi's anime form though. They did a pretty good job at capturing his extremly annoying,spontaneous, crazy, gay self but still the manga is better. I knwo you people that are reading this and like the aninme better are like jaw dropped probabaly but I stand firm behin d my descisions!lols.

Oh well. SHuichi's songs are good too. I liek the songe form the eleventh manga about his gold fish! yah! gold fish!lols! I own all eleven manga's and have read themall more times than I want to remember. You want page numbers i've got em!lols! I am an insane quoter also because I have a tendancy to retain completly usless information. I am a fast learner and I memorize things very easily, but I can still quote better than I can remember math formulas.

I don't want to be picky or something so if I am please tell me, but I think that the Gravitation, manga and Anime, don't really classify as Yaoi. If anything they are slashable Shounen-ai/Yaoi and that's being generous. I mean what little that they do show isn't anything compared to the remixes or some other harder core Yaoi like Boku no Sexual Harasment and Ai no Kusabi which both classify as true Yaoi (even though Ai no Kusabi is based on a Japanese novel and has some plot to it and is really sweet if you get past just about the whole shows animation style and you listen to it with your eyes closed). Yes I'm crazy and I've read volumes 1,2 of the Gravitation Remixes and a bit of three I think. They're pretty ...graphic? no ...uh...Depictive and Descriptive!yes! , but besides that they're done by our beloved Murakami Maki so they are still hillarious. And to answer your question, yes they do play the songs that are in the manga in the anime and OVA, though most of them appear in the OVA's. "No Style" (BL), "Shinning Collection" (Grasper) and others speckle their way into it. "The Rage Beat" (BL), "Blind Game Again" (BL), "Yuuutsa no Seven Days" (which is a cutsy fun little insert song played in the background of episode eleven when Yuki and Shuichi are on their date at Odiaba Amusment Park. This song was done by super awsome j-pop vocalist Kotani Kinya ,who is alot like or beloved little pink haired Uke in real life and lends his beautiful singing voice to Shuichi) and "Sleepless Beauty" (Grasper) were included in the actual Television series, along with "Anti-Nostalgic" (Kotani Kinya) and "In the Moonlight" which is used to close out the entire show. The super cute opening song "Super Drive" I believe is done by a vocalist by the name of Sakanoue Yosuke. This vocalist sounds similari to Kotani Kinya, though is voice is slightley higher. The closing song is "Glaring Dream" (Bl). This song is also done by Kotani Kinya, it's very nice and if you know your lyrics well enough it is actually the song that Yuki first reads the lyrics to in the first DVD volume: Fateful First Encounters.I find it Ironic because it's actually very good! I tatally agree! I love the manga's! The OAV's are gonna be super sweet! Yuki's into Sadism in the OAV's though and it's really funny. I have this picture of Shuichi were he's tied to this matress and teh captions is all "I'm in experienced in thei fetich" and I laughed and was slightly desturbed. lols! Me and Sam accidentally set that picture as her desktop on her uh...Dwaynes computer. We set the old one back but you know how when you open or close your user thingy the old background pops up, well When Dwayne went to use it the desturbing picture popped up and yah. I wasn't there but 'm assuming it was a very strange and awkward moment!lols! Sam your such a clutz!
