Don't get angry, your ignorance is entirely your own fault. Anime is universally known across the internet as a form of cartoon (The two terms cartoon and anime are not interchangable) that originates from Japan. See the sub heading under the name of this forum. See where it says Japanese Animation? That implies that this is a forum meant for Japanese animation. If the name of this thread was "What is your favorite cartoon?" or "What is your favorite animated programme?" then your cartoon would have been suitable, but the thread says favorite anime. However, if you still do not believe in this, then I present to you a quote from an online dictionary source regarding anime:

My favourite anime are Guyver 3X3 Eyes, Legend of the four kings, Dirty pair Original and Flash, Burnup W and Excess, FMA and lotz of others.

The thing that confuses the anime/Cartoon boundry is that alot of the 80's main stream cartoons like Transformers, Mask etc. used japanese infulances and animators and this tends to confuse some ppl about what is anime and what is cartoon
