I like Light as a character
He's cool, the power just went to his head.
He was good intentioned, but he went a little nutty

He was to die with the way he was going.
Plus he kind of needed to die, he was kind of the biggest threat to society ever.
Even worse than the criminals he was killing

Cept the death of Light is also the end of Death Note- so I had mixed feelings about that.

Well DN didn't exactly HAVE to end ne? Like, the Death Note could have been passed down through generations and given us something that would look like Inuyasha, only with a notebook of death instead of a feudal era love story.

nother bad thing would be a Mecha themed death note. That would just be stupidly weird.
