It does down by 40%. I find it weird that this is considered strange. But when real people don't sit right I'm sure they can't think as well either.

I don't think I think better because I'm concentrating on the no blood in my legs and can't think. It makes sense and it's pretty obvious why he does it. I prefer to sit cross legged.

I read on some article why L holds thinks that way...
It says there that it's because he is so careful with things and try not to put marks on it because it might be some kind of evidence or something.. Like when he holds video tapes and document papers...

I can't sit like that for to long because if the blood to my legs gets cut off, I can't stand the feeling you get in your legs. You know, that weird tingle.

I love sitting like that. I don't like to sit in the normal way, I like to sit or in L's way or in the japanese's way.
