---- WARNING!!!!!!!! SPOILERS AHEAD ----



After Naraku was defeated and the Shikon no Tama destroyed, Inuyasha and Kagome were sent back to modern Tokyo where she reunited with her family. At that moment Inuyasha was sent back to the Sengoku Jidai and the well closed.
Next we see what happened three years later: Kagome graduated and is with her family; Sango and Miroku are together and have 3 kids (twins and a newborn baby!); Shippou is studying to be a better demon; Rin is staying with Kaede (but Sesshoumarou keeps on visiting her); and Inuyasha is still in Kaede's village, going to the well every 3 days to see if there is any change.

Meanwhile, Kagome visit's the well and thinks of those last moments with Inuyasha before she made her wish. She realizes that she needed to be with her family (Inuyasha says something similar, which surprises Miroku because it is so mature!). But at that moment she thinks -while touching the well- that she wants to see Inuyasha... and the well opens. Her mother approaches.

At the same time, Inuyasha is being "attacked" by Miroku's and Sango's twins ('doggie' 'doggie'). Suddenly he hears something and he stands. He runs to the well thinking he has smelled the scent of Kagome: and he helps her to climb out of the well. They embrace.

The ending shows Kagome dressed as a Miko, while she explains that she is living in the Sengoku Jidai. She is with Inuyasha (she calls Sesshoumarou 'brother in law', to his chagrin).
It ends with a sappy (lovely) phrase about 'their tomorrows'.

Don't you love the part when Sota's friends asked if they couold be introduced to his hot sister but he said "Oh she got married after highschool" and they all look at him wondering if she's a yankee! LOL!

Aww dude it would be a bummer if Kagome don't see InuYasha ever again after their epic journey is over. I'd be like traumatized for a few days or something Lol

I SO LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED THE LAST INUYASHA CHAPTER!!!!!!!!!! But I was disapointed on one issue....why doesn't Inu and Kag ever kiss? XP

Well after 3 years, Kagome was able to get back to the feudal era. and married Inuyasha

Sango and Miroku are married with twins, and a baby boy.

Shippou is studying to be a better kitsune.

Kohaku is training with a weapon totosai made for him.

Rin is with Kaide while sesshoumaru visits and brings her stuff frequently.
