Karin Rengu wrote:Seriously? I LOVE granny smith apples! They're green and tangy...so TASTY! I can't believe you have so many doctors in your family! You must be really smart too!
what are you going to college for anyway? Are you going to stay in brazil or go abroad? (I'm considering a semester in Britain which is why I'm asking)
hehehe.. apples are very tasty! ^^ but I eat more often the red ones. XD
yeah, there are a lot of doctors in my family... and no, I'm not that smart.. u___u' I'm.. normal...XD
hmm.. I'm not pretty sure if the name in English is this, but I want to be an interpreter.. (o_o).. anyway, i want to use a loooot of languages in my work! 8D And no math!!
I don't know if I'll stay here in Brazil or go abroad, but I'm planning on going to Japan for 1 year or 2 after I finish college and to some place to practice my english...
but I don't know exactly where I'll stay. ^^
about the 10 years in 1 apple, I heard something like this on TV...my dad always eats 1 apple every night and he told me once that apples actually makes our life longer...

HEY! You hate math too? It's. . .my WORST enemy. XD Yea, interpreter is the right word. I would LOVE to do that job. I'd want to know english, german, japanese, mandarin chinese, portugese, and spanish at least if I wanted that job. But it sounds awesome doesn't it!
I'm hoping to live in japan for at least one year after I get out of college just to experience a different country. I think I'd live in Tokyo and work at a local place and stalk mangaka on my time off XD my ideal job would be to work as an assisstant to a mangaka because I'd like that job too (so many!)
btw, Rin, your english is REALLY good. I don't know how long you've been learning it but to be honest, you speak better english than pretty much everyone in my school

Yes, I HATE math!! u____u And I also hate physics and chemistry.. u___u
I can speak portuguese, english, japanese and spanish. But I want to learn french, italian, mandarin, german, russian and korean! 8D
Work as an assistant to a mangaka sounds cool ^^ But when I go to Japan after my college, I'll go there on study.
I'm happy to know you think my english is good ^^ Thanks
I think I've been learning it for about 5 years...

That's awesome! considering everyone in my town has learned english their whole life and their english sucks. XD Russian! I forgot about that language! That would be a fun one to learn too. Right now I speak English and German but I'm learning Japanese and Mandarin.
Also, translator is another word for interpreter in english. I don't know if that makes a difference though

how do their english suck if they have learned english their whole life? XDD
Russian is a interesting language... ^^
I'm not sure if translator would be the same thing of interpreter, but you understood what I want to be ^^ XD

I have no clue how their english can suck but hardly anyone uses the correct grammar etc. Well, I guess I should have said that translating is more common when your talking about the written part of a language and interpreting is more common when it involves the spoken part.
btw, Rin, you can't try to tell me you're not smart if you already speak 4 languages and want to be an interpreter. Also, are Portugese and Spanish similar at all? I mean the language.

Oh.. I think there are some people here in Brazil that don't have a good portuguese too.. even they have been speaking this language for their entire life.. XD I think I have a good portuguese.. I try to speak correctly.....XD But sometimes it's hard XD
so I want to be an interpreter. I want to use more the spoken part ^^
I'm good at languages, but in the rest of the subjects, I'm not good.. o___x
(You see, I don't study for languages tests, but for other tests, I study a lot and don't get good grades like I do on languages tests.. ^^' )
Hmm.. portuguese and spanish are similar... ^^ Sometimes I listen someone speaking spanish, I have to stop and think : "Oh, it's spanish, not portuguese"...
there are some people in my town that came from Bolivia (I think) and they speak a weird portuguese, that sounds like a mix of portuguese and spanish XD
*one thing I've just remembered, DN's new movie came out on Japan this Saturday*

YAY! LOVE L!!!
So if I learn Portugese it shouldn't be that hard to learn Spanish?
Yea, one of my strong points is Language too. But I have to study really hard for math just to get a decent grade.
So what are you going to do with interpreting?

Yeah, I think if you learned potruguese, it wouldn't be that hard to learn spanish. ^^
I have to study hard for math to get a decent grade too.. u___u But math will be almost useless in my profissional career! Why do I have to learn it then?? I'll just use the basic content of what we learn! XPP
Hm.. I'm not sure about what i'm going to do with interpreting... o__o

I've heard that if you eat 1 apple every day, you can survive for like more 10 years.
Then that just means that none of your family members are human. Neither are you.

Yea! I'm hoping to get into a career that doesn't involve math either! I'm glad to hear that learning Spanish after Portugese shouldn't be too hard.
Maybe! You could interpret the anime voices and translate them for several countries at once! That'd be awesome!!

Today my grammar teacher told us something funny.. if somebody speaks in spanish, we understand easily. But if we speak spanish, they don't understand us! Even we speak perfectly the language, she said they have some kind of... of... accent (i don't know if it actually could be called accent) and we don't have. But I don't know, when I talked to a person in spanish, she understood what I was saying. so.. XD
Aaaand... I'd like to translate the voices, but not use my voice to the characters XD My voice isn't very good for it and I'm too shy XDD But yeah, it'd be very awesome ^^

That would be a perfect job for you! btw, I'm probably getting a Portugese book to start to learn it!
Ok. . .since L doesn't like math, and neither do Rin or I. . .then it must mean that smart people don't like math!
Something I find even funnier. . .I got my highest grade ever on my last math test and I didn't even try to understand the chapter, but all the other chapters I tried to understand I didn't too well on. XD
