The Emerald Tablet doesnt tell you how to make the Stone, the Emerald Tablet tells the acient Alchemy Rules that Hermes gave to Earth.

The Stone cannot be made if you dont understand the components of the human,do not understand alchemy,if you dont understand what exactly is Alchemy and if you dont uunderstand the truth beehind the Tablet.

Also you cannot make the Stoone if you dont activate the array,in other words you have to do alchemy to make the Stone.

Egh, it was a stupid question anyway. I kinda already answered it. It's the key to the Stone, sure, but it's not a direct door to the Stone's secrets.

It's cryptic because it has to be. Same with any Alchemist's writings. If you had the Universal Solvent, or the Elixir of Life, would you really just up and tell them others how to make it? Or would you want to ensure only those WORTHY of making it understand?

What do you mean by that? >.>

If you give out a secret like this to just anybody, they can abuse it. If it really can turn base elements into gold, then common knowledge of the Stone would cause gold to become worthless. And if everybody lived forever, there would undoubtedly become a population problem. Not to mention the other possible things the Stone might be able to do.

It just freaks me out....

Abuse of the Stone might cause an unstable alchemical reaction that might decompose everything,in other words it might destroy the world.

Not sure where that came from. I mean, it will cause major entropy (Chaos from Order, much like I said before - If the lead-to-gold and immortality things are true, then gold and life would both become worthless, and overpopulation would be a major problem).

(...Love your Avatar, BTW... much better than mine, but InuYasha's the only character I recognize from an Anime I actually like. I would pick some random cool-looking avatar from what they have, but I'd probably get comments like "OMG SO-AND-SO IS AWESOME, do you like that show too?" And I'd be going... "What show?"

Anyway, back to the Stone... Yeah, chaos.

I think this thread's dead... it's a shame, really, because this is a good subject.

I've found some more from Nicholas Flamel (unless I've already mentioned it). Aside from images of his notebook, I've also found what seems to be a description of the Book of Abraham the Jew he was supposed to have come into posession of. I mention the notebook because the images in that description often match up to images he had drawn in his notebook.
