I'm sorry but I just got around to seeing this thread.

After seeing it: I would like to say half of you are full of crap. There is no way in hell some of you made the poems you did. For those of you, you know who you are....stop ruining things for me and others and making really talented people look bad.

You just feel sorry, you didn't come up with the poems first.

You're right...I don't spend time writing my poetry....but I do still enjoy other's ....but what I hate is plagiarism..which is obvious that some people are doing. From books...forums...etc....

I do have two poems...written for school only though...which I will never show off.

hey guys finally found em!!!!
Him
His eyes as black as night
His face as pale as death
his touch as cold as ice
his laughter taunts some of us
but for others it brings fond memories
if this sounds like a lovestruck teenage girl who
has fallen for one of the devils creatures.
Vampire!you may hear people shoot but
the lovestruck teen dosent care.
She wishes to be changed.
She wants to see her beloved! The Devil!

Yeah, yeah, yeah...
The names are corny & I dislike them, but they fit...

& They start the same, because I went to write one, but couldn't bring myself to finish, & so scrapped it... Some time later I found myself inspired, and so not only wrote the second one, but went back & finished the first...

'Give it Time'

Sitting upon my aching knees,
Back incrusted with dried blood,
The bitter salt water runs down,
As the darkness slowly consumes.
Of one extreme or the other everyone always assumes.
You’re either a stiff or a clown.
There’s either drought or a flood.
There are the birds and the bees.

Why is neutrality so hard to believe?
How is it that none can understand?
Why is it that none will even try?
The world we live in is that of cowards.
For fear of lies they will listen to no words.
For fear of punishment they tell their own lies.
For fear of mistrust they quickly give hand.
Why would anyone be so bold as to believe?

Those few who’re genuine are put through Hell.
For all that they wish is to be believed.
Their words of warning go unheard.
For speaking of Truth they get punished.
When proven true all are astonished,
And even then ‘tis considered absurd.
From these times they wish to be relieved,
But if such is to happen, only time may tell.

'Just Keep Dancing'

Upon bloodied knees within the dark,
Head awkwardly lowered in defeat,
Mind drowned by bitter, shameful tears,
Come true have the worst of my fears.
Upon few others have I left my mark,
And out of them it shall be beat.
But, it cannot be beaten from me,
For ‘tis truly all that I am.
At least, once they’ve finished I’ll be free,
Free to leave this cursed frozen land,
Just as I had originally planned.
To them, I am just another lamb,
To be slaughtered in name of Man divine,
And afterwards upon my flesh shall they dine.
Silenced shall again be my voice.
But perhaps there is still a choice,
Perhaps I’ve still a fighting chance,
Perhaps I’ve still strength to take my stance.
Again, shall I rise, and continue this dance!
A dance I say, for ‘tis a twisted sort of romance.

I love your poems! here's mine!(I promise i wrote this myself) (you can check everywhere, i'm the one who wrote this)

DRIPPING SANDS
Well sure you’ll laugh all day
But there are things you don’t dare to say
When I look into your eyes
There’s a girl who sits and cries
And then I hear
The thing that’s my biggest fear
You didn’t know what to live for
There wasn’t even one open door
I tried to help you and hold your hand
But your life dripped away like tiny bits of sand
I told you people loved you
Oh if you only knew
But I was too late
There you go, my friend Kait.

what do you think? I think it's bad. :(

CT~cool but sad poems
Angel of Dreams~calm down its not bad,its cool
Hamlet~sounds cool, but simplicity isn't really there so i'll have to read it one more time.

and its time i put in another sack of crap, making it up now.hmmmmmm.........

~Emissary of depair~

in the dark i'll be.
you'll never find me.
leave me be, or you'll
discover an atrocity.
pure madness.

haha...my crapness makes me laugh! ^_^

oh yeah...kagomes poem is cool too, me likes! ^__^
