Sorry.

Well, with any luck, I'll see the anime. I've only read the manga and it is good. What happens to Shuichi is so sad.

You should also see the two-episode-OVA. What happened to Shuichi? The manga goes beyond the anime.

Oh, my God! I haven't known that. Who raped him? What did Eiri do?

Um, one of the band leaders from the rival band got some guys to do that. Poor Shuichi. They were really mean to him, calling him all these bad things because he loved a guy. He was really messed up after that. He was crying to Hiroshi and asking, "What's wrong with wanting someone to love you?" At first, Eiri acted like he didin't care, but then he went to beat up the guys and almost killed them.

Poor Shuichi. I didn't know that. It is good that Eiri stood up for those bad guys and beat the hell out of them.

Did this all happen in the manga? Is there any indication that Eiri and Shuichi got intimate?

Yeah, it all happened in the manga. Um, I'm not really sure about that last part.

I haven't read the volume in a while.

I started reading "The Wallflower" manga and it is awesome! I fell in love with it instantly. I know that there is an anime adaptation of this manga and I would love to watch it. Have you heard of it?

Nope. I need to go to the library and clean the shelves of all the manga.

If it was up to me, I would have bought all the manga out there.

It is a shame I won't be able to afford it, though. There are lots of Shojo manga I would love to get but most of them are in Japanese and I cannot read Japanese.

My friend went to Japan about two years ago and bought a shojo magazine there. She got also got a Japanese/English dictionary and tried to translate everything.

I'd like to learn Japanese, but the only languages taught here are Spanish and French. But that's one of my life goals, so I'll learn it one day.

I think you should study Japanese someday and this is what I am thinking. I will definitely work on it. There are lots of beautiful Shojo anthologies in Japan and I got one once, which is "Betsucomi." It is such a good anthology but it is a shame that I couldn't understand a single word. I liked it because "Hot Gimmick" was serialized on it.

It would be nice to watch the original anime without that subtitles.

I've kidna developped this ability to look at the action on the screen while reading the subtitles though . . .

I have only one Japanese anime, which is not translated but I couldn't go on since I didn't understand a single word but the animation is gorgeous. It is a pure Shojo.

Do you have any vague clue as to what it is about?

It is about a guy who has been in love with his twin sister since they were kids and these feeling have intensified as they were growing up. It is such a beautiful anime. The guy slept with his sister's friend in order to forget about her but he couldn't. This friend of his sister is totally in love with him but he couldn't love her back. I think he regretted sleeping with her in the first place since she got more and more attached to him. At the end, he ended up sleeping with his sister but he moved to another prefecture to study and to keep their relationship a secret from their parents and the people who know them.
