Sempai, I have a question. What does it mean when someone says "desu wa" at the end of their sentence (and honestly, for some reason I find it annoying that way)?

What does this mean....somebody PM'd me this though i dont understand it at all....weird..

It goes something like this:

I'm new here...when necessary I can speak English but I'm from Japan...I hope I'm welcomed in here.

I'm a bit iffy on the second sentence, but I think that's the jist of it (I can feel Senpai and my school sensei cringing now).

And as for the whole "desu wa" thing, that is a sentance ending used mostly by females and sounds very girly. Gay guys have been known to use it quite alot too. There are how ever, a few instances where ayone can use it, like "kaeru wa" would mean "i'm going home", I heard that one used a few times

So it's kind of like how sometimes old men use "desu ja"...alright. Thanks. That explains some.

And I didn't see that form of sentence before, so I just made due with what parts I did know.

koraekirenai -　堪え切れない - not really sure, I think it means "cannot be defeated" because it literally means "endurance that cannot be cut"
korae - 堪え - to endure
kirenai - 切れない - cannot be cut (can also mean "cannot wear" as in clothing　着れない)
sugoku - 凄く - amazingly
sobani -　そばに - next to
miteru - 見てる - looking
wo - を - sentance particle, marks an object
wa - は -sentance particle, marks a topic

I don't know if ragnarok means anything in Japanese, but in Norse (Viking) mythology it was the term for the end of the world.

I don't know if someone had already ask it, but, what's de difference between wa and ga?...
Sometimes I see (for example) kimi wa and sometimes kimi ga. Does it has some special meaning?

When I want to say "I love..." like: "I love Tsubasa Chronicles" how do I say it?
I know that the verb "to love" is daisuki and I've heard sometimes aishiteru, but I don't know to use it at phrases...

"ga" and "wa" can be used at about the same level, or switched around and replaced with the other...as to give you a definate answer of when one can appropriately be used and exceptions, I don't know. I haven't had much experience with "ga" from what I've learned.

"aishiteru" is more on relationship terms instead of liking/loving a tangible thing. If you want to say "I love Tsubasa Chronicles", you'd use the "daisuki" or "totemo suki(which is to "live very much")":

I love Tsubasa Chronicles = tsubasa kuranikurusu ga daisuki = ツバサクラニクルスが大好き

I know the "Tsubasa" part is suppose to be in katakana for the show, but I'm not too sure about the "Chronicle" one, so I just put that in katakana as well.

It should also be noted that "daisuki" is an adjective, not a verb, "aishitru" is a verb however

Also, the word tsubasa 翼 in Japanese means "wings", so it suprises me that it's supposed to be written in katakana

Tsubasa Chronicles does deal with wings since basically the generl point is to gather feathers in different worlds for a princess since they contain her memories.

They liked to use the katakana in the title though, that's one thing I noticed.
