come to think of it ya'll are right. i guess to get noticed so that the battle between him and Sasuke is promised. Cause Sasuke would track him down through them.

I have an idea. Akatsuki's goal is to take all the Bijuu from their Jinchuuriki in which Naruto is one of those. Then if Akatsuki is looking for Naruto and Naruto is looking for Sasuke then there would be a bigger chance of them to meet.

Hmm....I read somewhere, (I'm not sure if its true or accurate,) that the Akatsuki's actual goal was to use the tailed beasts chakra and power to create a bomb and unleash it on the world, to try and create world peace o.o........in a way, to me, it DOES make sense. But that last part in the spoiler box may not be true. ^^'

The manga did say that Itachi became a man of peace after he witnessed death and war as a child. And I thought somewhere it read that Madara created the Akatsuki not only as an escape from the Leaf Village after what he had done but also created it to try and create peace in the world.

But that last part in the spoiler box may not be true. ^^'

From what I understood in the manga. The Akatsuki wants to use the tailed beast as a weapon to make war from different countries not make peace.

I thought it went either way. XD

I thought they would use the beasts and create war to create peace....kind of like the Death Note concept of Kira's "justice" I suppose you could say.

hmm i was going to say something but i cant remember what LOL Oh i remember now XD. I thought Akatsuki wanted the tailed beats to obtain more power?

I agree with Jessie. And the idea of world domination is nowhere near peace.
