Absolute Anime

was wondering if anyone here was going to otakon 2005! also want to beg from those who are going for a place to sleep . me and my friend can not find a hotel with a room within ~4 miles of the center and we are taking a bus from northwestern PA so we won't have any trasportation but walking. if you might be interested in some roommates for the weekend you can contact me on msn at h4v3n_l33t@hotmail.com or tsykid on aim or auroragriffin for yahoo <(is my friend that is going with me) or by email at h4v3n69@gmail.com. we will of course give you some money to help pay for the room. hope to see you there

Shouldn't you have thought about that when you pre-registered for the Otakon? You did pre-register right? If you didn't then you should be told if the Otakon pre-registrations fall to less than 2000 left by this friday Aug 12th at midnight, they will NOT taking any registrations at the door.

And as of right now they have 3023 spots left. Looks to me like no one will be reigistering at the the door this year. Have you tried asking on other anime message boards? Or thought about getting there earliy enough and volenteer as a gopher? Though they may have filled those spots right now.

I live in Northwest PA myself, but I'll be camping out like I did last year. So I only got room for myself. Sorry.

we just registered this friday we really didnt know where it was untill a week ago and thats when we realized there were no hotels open. ive been asking around several forums about it one person *might* have an extra room we dont know yet. and for gopher i looked but we cant get to baltimre untill friday around 1pm due to the bus schedule. your camping out? you mean like tent and all?

Well no tent, but I do have the other items for it. And know where I can grab a shower, I am very low maintance as I like to keep my hair very short and use spray deodorant. I can wash with very little water, but I'm not camping out inside the city of Baltimore. I know where the nearest campgrounds to it is. I have my methods for surviving 3 days of an Otakon and staying fresh and clean.

I can not stress this enough, some people need to use deodorants at these cons and wash. I've been to conventions where I could smell the dirt on some freak walk by. This is important people.
