why does kaouru call her sister miss migumi?
why does she have to call miss migumi with the
^miss^ when she is her sister?

Not the same last names, why do you think they are related? I just started this series, so I don't know for sure. But I don't believe they are sisters. Anyone?

they are definately not sisters
When they first meet kenshin brings her home from saving her and Kaoru thinks she is a prostitute or a new women he spent all night with

Whoa.
They're not sisters, but they call her "miss" because it's proper and formal when they translated it from Japanese.
Like a younger person calling an older person " (Insert a name here)-san."

Theres no reason for insults. I see how that could it could be interpreted that way- at the end of the third manga, there is an extra story at the end, one of Watsuki's earlier attempts at making RuroKen. In this short story, Megumi and Kaoru are sisters.

i doubt this is true Kaoru and migumi are like rivals and usually rivals are enemy.
