alright,people lets just ignore the pokemon show for a second and vote,who do you like better,Meowth or Pikachu(i mean the pokemon and not the characters from the show)i like both but i like Meowth better.

That's tricky... Pikachu evolves into my favorite electric Pokémon. But Meowth knows one of the most useful moves for the poor trainer who can't find other trainers to fight... PAY DAY!

See, that's the point that I prefer Pikachu. I don't like Persian as much as I like Meowth. I think it might be what's on each one's forehead. A giant gold charm, or a jewel? Sure, I'm a rockhound, but... meh.

Also, you can evolve a Pikachu by choice (though in the original Blue Version, I actually had a Pikachu evolve on its own - that was abnormal, I think it might've been a glitch). You have to keep Meowth from evolving by cancelling it each time, or by giving it an Everstone. Too much of a hassle.

hey,the same thing happened to me once(but i had the red version)i thought it was a glitch too.my Pikachu evolved when i was in the final gym after i had won a battle.when did yours evolve?do you remember?

Nope. Rock Tunnel, not Victory Road. I was on my way there to get to Lavender Town.
