Absolute Anime

Everyone here loves anime/manga, but can anyone of you actually draw the characters? I'm getting better at drawing them. I want to know so I can ask some tips on drawing emotion. Most of my drawings lack the emotion I want them to have.

For any normal kind of human portrait drawing lacking emotion, I'd suggest to observe how people's faces change with different situations, in the real world.

With manga it's rather different, seeing that very few characters have faces like actual people.

Look at real human face reactions, and look at other mangas for help.

that's true. Getting emotion from real faces if the best thing to do, when you want to draw. Think about the shape of the mouth, eyebrow tilt, and eyes.
