Which anime do you think has the best animation. For me, it has to be Beyond the Clouds.

Yeah, it does. Beyond the Clouds and Voices of a Distant Star were done by the same person and that very person did both titles all by theirself. Incredible.

i wish i could say SM...but its animation is really quite pitiful...all of us SM fans love it for the character development and plot!! but i wud have to say...hmmmm.............................................................................................................................................................................................................??? cant think of any...

The thing is a lot of shows minimise on drawing moving objects to save costs, it's a real pet peeve of mine.
1 classic example is a camera panning across a static background but with ambient talking at the back.
