While I have little substantial evidence to back this up I believe taht there is a chance Naruto is the 4th's son. My reasoing is thus:
Naruto and the 4th share many traits, similar hair and eyes to be more precise.

In addition many comments were made to naruto about how a Hogage must be wiling to make the ultimate sacrifices to protect the village. Possibly using your son as the vessel for a demon?

In addition the 4th also sai he wanted Naruto honored as a hero for his sacrifice, and it seems taht he wanted Naruo to succeed because he used a seal taht alllowed the Nine-Tails chakra to be used by Naruto, in stead of totally sealing it.

There is also the fact taht Naruto seems to have an innate talent for learning Jutsu that even having the nine-tails inside him wouldn't effect as much, something that seems in the anime to be more hereditary, some (Rock Lee) having no capacity to learn Ninjutsu and Genjutsu and otehrs (The Sannin/Naruto/Sasuke) seem to be very adept at it.
I'm curious as to your opinions on this.

i think you're right. i think same way. why the 4'th choose Naruto? because he's his son! remeber that only the 4'th, Jiraiya and Naruto could master the rasengan!!
i think you're right :)

also consider naruto_has_Been_refered_to_as_the_Fourths_legacy.
I_cant_Rember_who_It_Was_that_said_this.
Either_Jiraiya_or_the_Third.
sory.My_Space_Bar_Just_Crapped_Out_on_me.
And_The_Time_jiraiya_tossed_Naruto_into_the_canyon,
He_apoligized_to_the_fourth_saying:
"Dont_take_it_Personaly_fourth"

Ive_also_Come_to_the_Conclusion_that_Jiraiya_Is_naruto's_
Grandfather.Compare_Thier_Personalities_and_also_Similar_looks.
Looking_at_all_Three(forth_Naruto_Jiraiya)You_can_See_Some_Resemblance.
I_also_Believe_Granny_sunadi_is_in_fact_Also_narutos_grandmother.

There is another possibility that most of you never thought of. When the Kyyubi attacked the village, maybe The Fourth Hokage sealed the Kyyubi within himself, changing him back into infant form. That would also explain his and Naruto's similar looks, and Naruto's drive to become the greatest Hokage. It would explain also the use of the Rasengan. You may give any critisisms to this that you would like.

I COMPLETLY AGREE WITH YOU!! If you have ever seen the 4th hogage him and naruto bare a resemblance, (the blonde hair is a strong resembence)

Another point on my opinion. When the 3rd Hokage used the same technique the Fourth did, he sealed the enemies soul, yet the seal was put on the Third himself, and the 3rd died. Thus, the Fourth must have only been able to put the seal on himself, yet he had mastered the jutsu enough to stay alive, but change back into infant form.

Wow, so the fourth had sex when he was very VERY young is that what your saying? lol  I'd rather wait for proof before deciding 100% on that he is his son.
