ok well I PMed the webmaster and he nearly made me a mod until he changed it to this voting way (very clever
)
this is what i told him:
i was a mod on another large and busy site. i hardly ever spam and hate flamewars. i (hope) i have many friends and YHR, Ziffie-Link, Quaker and Rainkamer all recommended me to webmaster.
people call me responsible and i hate it when others spam or create wars.
thank you ^^

It's unfortunate that you've tried twice, and each time you have failed to follow the instructions precisely.

Like putting three options in the poll "Yes, you would", "No, you wouldn't" and "No opinion" and convince the other why she would be a good mod?

You got he first part right, but he did try to convince people, so that was okay. The other thing is not using the Question Mark icon for the thread.

i might as well give up then if im not able to follow the rules properly. i mean come on whats the point of being a mod if you're always being critisised by the way you do a few things...
but can i just ask what did i do wrong the first time before you made the vote?

Being a mod takes alot of work. A mod is responsible to follow rules from Webmaster and have to be responsible with any cause. I'm not sure if you are well prepared to be a mod, you are only 13.
Althought some mods are young, they are tough and strong.

That's the wrong way. You just read everything properly and
then post. Giving up that easily is just not right and shows that you do not really want to become a mod.
And being critisesed as a mod is normal but you have to be able to suck that in, get over it and still be objetive. And besides, you will get used to it, i already am

(i'm a mod on a quite big rpg forum with over 1,000 aktive members and a webchat, quite stressing sometimes ^^")

i vote yes not only because i want to be supportive and i am a good friend (those are some reasons though

) but also because i think you would be a great mod and help out the site a lot and probably be able to minimize spamming and flaming...well at least i think so....

The first try you forgot to make the poll. Before that, before I changed the procedure, you didn't do anything wrong. It's just that I had too many requests and recommendations. Before I make someone a moderator, I go through and read a lot of their past posts, and there's just no way I could have done that for all the potential candidates.
And so I created this new method to help narrow down the best candidates (and keep my Inbox from overflowing). This should not only help me to see who can write a convincing argument about why they should be a moderator, but also who can follow instructions, who can take criticism well, and who can connect with other members in order to get votes and recommendations.

I did recommend you Marik-Zeke and I stand by my word.
You have a good ear for helping people out, you're on frequently, you have expertise in a range of forums and you've never flamed or caused a lot of trouble.
For this I vote yes.
Many people make mistakes - But you can learn from them and try harder. If you have a goal you keep reaching - don't give up on first try.

I do not want to sound harsh, but I think that you would be a poor choice because you are a little bit immature and not so intelligent.
