There is a new method, lol. One of the reasons for that method was so moderators and especially Webmaster himself would stop getting PM's.
Stick to the new method.

what i meant was can someone make a topic in the mod thingy recomending someone to run for a mod

Better to send them a message and convince them to go through the procedure. Your recommendation won't matter if they just don't want to be a moderator.

Moderators can't ban you from the forum, only I can.
