I have readen the rules and I think I would be good as a moderator. I haven't been that on other forums but I have a friend thats a moderator. I would like too be a moderator in order too help you guys on AA. But I now that AA already have many moderators so its fine if you don't have more room. But as I said, I would like too help.

Yeah...hik is with nozomi... you should get used to the forums first.
But yeah, reasons for hik saying No:
1.You didn't give reasons
2. No poll
3.Just because your friend is a mod doesn't mean you have to be one
4.I don't know you
All of these reasons were already said though.. so.. yeah.. sorry but no

As a new memebr I think you should take the time and get used to the forum and it's inhabitants before you go apply for a mod position. Just a thought...
I don't really know you, so I think you should post a bit more, and prove that you are a good candidate for mod.

Som you mean if you see a guy on AA with like 8000 posts and he asks, Can I be a mod? Are you saying yes just becouse he has 8000 posts...

It doesen't make any sence.

No nozomi isnt saying that.
it simply means when you post on topic, dont spam or flame then your what we're looking for. We dont care if you have 8000 posts. you just need to know what to do in certain positions and follow directions.
if you didnt read what the webmaster asks for a good aplicaiton then go back to the aplication forum and read what he has to say.
after you do that, come back here and edit your post so it fulfills the requirements.
So dont exoect anyone to answer yes or no until you do just that.

Yeah.. what Mai said... just because someone has alot of posts (like me for example) doesn't mean that they will audimatically become a mod. If anything it would make it a tad harder to become a mod just for the simple fact they are going to check your early posts (mostly all of them) to see what kind of a poster you were. So posts really don't matter.
They are looking for:
·People who don't spam or flame
·People who are willing to make a commentment to aa
·People who are going to make aa a fun, yet safe/clean place
·People who wont abuse the mod privilage, etc.
Catch my drift????
I'm sure being a mod isn't all fun and games as it looks, its alot of work.

You didn't follow instructions at all. I agree with hik...your friend is a mod...sooo? That doesn't mean you have to be one?

May I note that mods have to be very active. I'm sure the AA webmaster isn't nice enough to make just some random person who barely comes on a lot a moderator to a forum. Plus, I believe this forum is moderator-infested. If I were admin, I'd actually kick some.
Edit: I also belive the majority of the people who are applying to become a mod aren't mature, or even fit for a job.
