Aren't they like over 500 years old?

because on the 3rd movie that one old guy Seal the Thrid sword for 500 years and Inuyasha was born during that time and Sesshmaru was like 8-13

I have to agree with that. Take for example their father. He didn't stay young forever. I think that Inuyasha stayed young because of Kikyos arrow but for Sesshomaru I don't know.

I think it's because they take more tin=me then humains to age
example: in 2 months I'll grow 1.6 inches
in 5 years Inuyasha will grow 1.6 inches

i think it's been said, but i could be wrong, that demons are practically immortal unless slain. not many demons die of old age...look at Myouga and totosaie.

the plight with the ages; time to go into dissertations. woot!!

from teh third movie, you get a good sense of teh ages, the problem is that the movie is NOT canon (original plot). Rumiko Takahashi (the author/producer) said it herself. so you cannot judge by the movies. the fallacy, however, is that she does canonize the movies with the second one by reintroducing Houjo from teh past back into the series in a few episodes from now...and they all know each other, which leads us all to assume they met in the second movie, which fails her logic. but anyway....

in the third movie, you learn that inuYasha is born. now...the sword sheath dude can seal soung'un for five hundred years. he does so for two hundred years in the past. now assume that Inu doesn't age when pinned to the tree, so he's really like 150. Sesshiles looks about inu's age now when he was talking to his dad, so in the show current to date; he's really like...400. interesting stuff.

so...who's ready for when Kagome get's out of the well and meets up with the modern youkai of inu and sessh? tell me that wouldn't kick a$$. talk about a head rush.

According to BakaYasha7583 Inuyasha is 150 years old. OMG,KAGOME IS 15 YEARS OLD, THEN IT MEANS THAT INUYASHA HAS 100 YEARS MORE THEN KAGOME...
