personally, i think all blood sports (shoot/hunting animals) should be illegalised. its just sickening, and wrong. what sports do ya'll think should be made illegal?

no. but they wernt hunted for sport. i mean, killing, just because you can kill. killing for food is ok, but, killin because one is able too, is f**ked up, and not something i stand for.

I totally agree with you Rikoku. I think killing animals for food is one thing, and for entertainment or other necessities such as fur, and other stuff like....I don't know, ivory and horns, etc, is another. I'm not against eating animals at all, it's called survival of the fittest and that's totally fine. But oh my god, it angers me soooo much when people kill just for pleasure. I mean, how COULD you feel good after killing something that you didn't actually have to kill?

But... I don't know. Who am I to say what's wrong or right. If you have money, you can probably do anything and get away with it. I guess it's a life style. Anyway, I've seen some pretty harsh cases where animal cruelty took place, and it's not a pretty sight.

If people only knew how animals are killed in some countries for their fur, they wouldn't have the guts to go shopping for a new fur coat. They actually don't even kill them before they start skinning them, supposedly the fur will have a better quality if skinned off while the animal's still alive. That's just disgusting...

I'm just gonna type out this little thing I saw some time ago (didn't see it in person thankfully, or else I would have just broken down).
So I saw this video (in English class back in high school actually... my god, I loved my teacher... and wow.... that was sooo long ago...) where these hunters in the arctic were hunting for white seals (for their coat). And this one hunter, trapped this baby seal and started to skin it, while the poor thing was alive and screaming. Then, the mother came along, and tried to save her baby and the hunter turned on her and bashed her face in like 10 times with the back of his shotgun. The mother immediately went down, but she was still alive. She was like, bleeding to death and the hunter refused to waste a bullet on her to rid her of the pain. and so, the mother was left there, all bloody and dying, and the baby was skinned alive. They only skinned the baby since it supposedly had a "fresh" coat.
I was in frikin' tears. And what angered me even more was the camera man and how he just...watched the whole thing happen and didn't do a frikin thing!

ugh, I'm not a GreenPeace activist person or anything, but I just... get so angry!!

And this other time, one of my family friends was over at our house and he asked me if I knew of a good hunting club (since I work at a golf club with all these rich B's) and I was like, OMFG! I want to kill you! But whatever, he's just another rich retard.

Anyway, point being: All sports involving the hunting of ENDANGERED animals should be illegal.
Don't want to take all the joy away from the old rich morons.

I've actually thought about getting involved with Green Peace after I've gotten my masters degree and travel the world and stuff (always wanted to travel, and oh oh! And Mai, do they use a tiger's meat when they hunt it for its fur? Or a seel's? or an elephant's (when hunted for ivory)? I don't think so. Therefore they DO NOT use the meat. They hardly ever do, even with those animals who are, well, eatable. Chickens and ducks are another thing however

And fur boots? I'm sorry, but I find fur boots to be very disgusting, why use real fur for boots? It's so incredibly unnecessary. Like anyone's gonna ask, omg, are those boots made out of real fur?...hmmm... I've heard people ask whether they're leather... but never fur... mmmmm... that's actually kinda intresting since... oh whatever, I think it'd be best if I kept my posts as short as possible.

And about the fur thing, killing animals for fun or for clothing is mean. I mean, it was dandy in the dark-ages when we had no other way of keeping warm. But these days you can make that like...fake stuff that looks exactly the same. It's the superficial pretentious retards who want it to be 'authentic' because it is somehow 'cooler'(?) [or more extravagant] that keep the market open, causing thousands of endangered aniimals to die.

The only thing I condone the killing of is animals for, is for food. Or in Australia species like the kangaroo (they do make great steaks); the reason they are actually killed is because their numbers have reached plague proportions (due to humans cutting down all the trees to make farms; hence they have way too much food).
Also, we kill crocs here But only if they are a danger to humans and it is too difficult to relocate them (once again, they make great steaks, the Aboriginal people hunted them thousands of years ago)

The thing I don't condone about the killing of animals for food, is for example what is often done with sheep. They find out how long before the animal is killed that the animal can starve without losing noticible muscle weight (the meat we eat), so before the sheep is killed for food, to save money the animal often starves for the last 3 weeks of its life. (mai, you might have read that in the Lecter series, EY EY!)

and oooo I used to LOVE wrestling. The old ones were soooo good! Human Kind kills animals for sport but there are also some humans that enjoy killing other humans, mass murders, they do it for sport untill they are cought some even leave a calling card of sorts as a favour to the detectives. All through out history Humans have done cruel things to animals and the like but it does not go without saying that we have done the most harm to our selves with war and poverty as well as genocide.
There are numerouse fight clubs among us, especialy over sea's in south africa that are being investigated, they are just not in the movies they are quite real. The richer peeps drive there spare change into this so called sport but the humans them selves are willing to indure it all for a few thousand dollars, but at what cost? They fight to the death for money and greed. My point being Humans are given choice's and most of the time they choose Poorly.



As for the animal fur thing thats another human choice, a bad Choice because soon those animal's they slaughter will be gone forever.
