What do you mean by "reign supreme?" Do you mean the anime as a whole? Or are you saying which anime is the strongest when it comes to fighting/battles?

Well when it comes to being the most powerful I say DBZ. When it comes to an anime being the best overall...I am not sure.

Dbz is without a doubt the greatest action on the planet. It would beat any anime.The best drawn cartoon in my oppinon is neon genius evangelion.

I would have to say Nagareboshi Gin.
Reasons for that is it´s got a great story (at least I like it), the music-soundtrack is awesome straight and through the entire series. A personal favorite. There are other series I want to mention too, but unfortunately I don´t know their original names. (only know the translated ones in my language)

Fist of the North Star reigns supreme.

Reason: Loads of action, the hero rarely spares a villain's life and it's also got loads of gore.
Plus it's got my all time favourite opening song.
