in the movie at the end dose asuka die? my friends say she dose and i dont beleive him so dose she die?

Well, I think she dies just like all the human kind during the III impact. But, for some reason, she's with Shinji on that "sea"side.
When Shinji decides to recreate all the A.T. Fields, Rei says: "Anyone can exist if it has the will" (or something like it). And Asuka had a LOT of will! So she regenerate her A.T. Field (or her soul, that's the same).

She never dies, I once asked Tiffany Grant the voice actor that plays Asuka at a anime convention and she said that she didnt realy die, she was spared. I am glad to because she is the best female character in the entire series. I could explain in more detail but than you will all be more confused lol, I recomend watching the entire series once more as I did.

If you seen the movie man you should know, you see her and shinji only at the very end... He spares her for unknown reasons, and on the cover of my movie she is sitting next to him surounded by that green stuff (the start of human kind).

What kind of series is Evangelion? I never paid much attention to anything other than Misato & Asuka but now you guys are telling me mankind gets wiped out!? Geeees whatta way to end a Movie. *sigh*
I like Evangelion but none of it makes any sence

...now, that's just my take on things, I could (and most likely) be wrong

I believe that when Asuka's Eva was completely annihilated, she remained safe in the plug, remember the incident with Toji and his Unit 3, his Eva was completely annihilated, and his...uhh...forgot what it's called...plug thinger...-my aplogies- is completly crushed, and he only loses and arm and a leg, Asuka's..plug...thinger...was most likely untouched when the spears went through her eva. To my next point, Third Impact, now, think of how Misato survived Second Impact, she was in the plug...thing, now when Third Impact was initiated, Shinji was in his Eva, and most likely, Asuka was as well after the fight with the Eva Series, thus leading to the both of them being spared from Third Impact

ehem she does the eva series kill ker and eat the evangelion unit 02 with asuka inside but at end shes back alive
