well, by katakane, you could just say jinjaa.

"jinjaa" 神社 means "Temple" or "shrine" in Japanese
Ginger is "shouga" ショウガ in Japanese
And it's katakana, not katakane

typo in the katakana part, sorry. but the e key is close to the a key...
