I have a simple question realy, and of cource its not related to any current topic but pokemon. In pokemon, does Ash ACTUALY become a master? Because I remeber this show when I was Just a small lad.. and now im ahh well cannot disclose my age

. He is still lame..He still does not have more than 10 pokemon???? (correct me if im wrong) He always boasts that he can and will become a master but all he does is travel around and frequently get's owned, granted he does win alot of the times but still after so many years should he not be a master now?
Maybe there is some other show out where he is but this show is draggin on like no other, I have nothing against the show at all, it entertained me when I was small but now its getting... hmm dont want to afend the fans so yeah. If you can elaborate it will be apreciated.

I have to agree about the Pokemon anime just dragging on. I mean just about every episode repeats the previous one.

Also Ash never did become a Pokemon master. He has hardly any Pokemon at all and some how his Pikachu can beat anything it comes across which is just plain ridiculous.

I mean if I faced Ash using the teams I have constructed in the Pokemon games over the years I would slaughter his whole team of
unevolved Pokemon. He also foolishly raised his Pokemon by choosing to not have them evovle and become stronger.

I used to like it when I was younger but I eventually moved away from the show. However, the games are a completely different story.

They are complex, deep, fun, challenging, and have a high reply value.

Well if you all want my honest opinion.. I actualy do want to see Ash become a pokemon master, I would hate to see ash get owned for the rest of life. I want to see him aquire some ownage as well. Anyways I will resume watching when they finnaly decide to make ash into a grown adult... I was age 12 or so when I first seen the show and he is still the same age, it would be nice to see some age progression..... Its after all been around 800 episodes lol. ?????????. Thanks for your suport guys.

Well if my memory isnt fuzzy I remember that sometimes making the pokemons NOT evolve is actually better....In the games atleast, they would have totally different stats when they leveled and gained different skills from the evolved one. And it isnt impossible for a Pikachu to beat any kind of pokemon, you dont just count the pokemons strength but also the users intelligence in fights. So what you guys said above is just a tiny bit redicilus(sp) but not impossible

Pikachu's defense stats are horrible and its special attack isn't that impressive. When I refer to special attack I am refering to Pikachu's electric attacks. If you have played the games you will know what I mean.

it's actually the 3rd version ever made.in the game you have to begin the game with Pikachu and he follows you around, and you can't evolve it unless you trade it to another version and do it there.

wow.....that sucks......cant evolve a pikachu. But sometimes for some pokemon its good not to evolve them too quick so they can learn all the techniques they need to learn at stage 1.

look he never actually becomes a master and will never because he travels with crappy pokemon (charizard excluded) and hardly makes them evolve but if he would have he would have a good arsenal he also gets rid of a lot of his best pokemons I'm talking about the old school episode where he would have a raichu, venosaur, blastoise, charizard, Butterfree and pidgeot. A bit like in silver when you fight him at the end.
