im only up 2 downloading episode 18 but its so cool!!!
hey if any of you guyz want to no something in 1 of the episodes u havnt sceen (up 2 17) then plz ask away! or just randomly chat about chobits, its all cool

Even though I hated the series, I did have one character that I liked and that would have to be Sumomo. She's awesome.

You will be disappointed if you watch the anime, the manga is much better. I enjoyed the manga a great deal, but I did not like the anime version one bit.

Oh yeah, and Minako-chan ^^, Chobits has been licensed in the United States already, if you love Chobits so much, help out American anime companies and buy their DVDs. Sure it may be expensive, but anime is a luxury, not an obligation. Give something back to the companies and support the anime industry, so that it will thrive. Otherwise the anime industry in the United States will die out, and we wouldn't want that to happen.

actually i got all of chobits for 30 bucks from sundevildvd.com also i happened to like the series i am not trying to change ur opinion but just because you did not like it deos not mean other people wont like it

I was not referring to anyone else, I said Yami Haga-Ryuzaki would be disappointed because she already read the Manga. The manga embodies more depth and characterization, while the anime is more of a fanservice show in my opinion. If you own the superior version, why would you spend more money on an inferior version? I was stating that people who have read the manga would be disappointed in the anime, I did not say that the anime stank by itself. Alone it is ok, but it just cannot compare to the manga version if one has seen both.

and congradulations on your Chobits purchase! $30 is a good deal. But why are you telling me this? I only brought up the DVDs because Minako-chan ^^ said she was downloading the tv series.

i actually own both i got the manga first then about a year later i got the anime. and i like them both equally if i didnt have them both i would not be able to really comment on which is better i no u were jus sayin ur opinion but sometimes other peoples opinion hav a effect of rubbing off on others

I read the manga on torrents. Damn, I wasn't expecting it to be a tradegy. Not being able to bone or finger the sexy robot...I almost cried.
