Absolute Anime

Are there any other fans of Flame of Recca around? (the manga, not the anime, the anime was AWFUL!)

I have yet to see the anime but I'm a big fan of the manga! Personally, I think Yanagi is cute. =P

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THE ANIME!! It has some plot changes that totally mess up the story, and Domon's voice is stupid. One example of an awful change is that Recca shoots fire from his hands. It doesnt stay on his hands and he throws it, like in the manga, he shoots it. Plus, he never shows Yanagi the flame, he NEVER EVEN KNEW ABOUT IT!! He subconsiously uses it against Kagero when they're fighting. Everything about it is awful. Im gonna write to Nobuyuki Anzai and ask if he had anything to do with these awful changes.

Does Flame of Recca series end at episode 42? or is there more i just dont know about?

I dont follow the anime. Its an awful interpretation of a great manga.

I dont kow about the anime but the manga is way better.

I agree the manga is way better then the anime, the anime does nothing but make Flame of Recca look bad.

hi well i like this show a lot especially recca .

I read the manga, and its pretty cool.

I haven't read the manga, but I torrented the anime a while back. And considering that much of the plot and the character designs were ripoffs of Yuu Yuu Hakusho, I won't be bothering to read the manga anytime soon.

That being said, it was fun for a B-rated ripoff. I like Kaoru Koganei. I'd hit that.
