GREAT series...tedious, but isn't it addictive? I am very fond of Ryouki!

I cannot stand him. I hate characters that are selfish, but believe that their own stupid crusade is for the greater good. Ryouki may be immature and mean, but at least he has a reason to be..its all he ever knew, and he is conciously trying to change, where as Azusa sticks with every choice he has made without any regrets, and continued to open old wounds by attacksing Hatsumi's family. Its not THEIR Fault his mom was a slut. He should stop blaming the rest of the world for HIS Problems...or die...

Azusa was told that his mother had the affair with Hatsumi's father.

Thats the point..its his mom's own fault that she had an affair *wink wink everyone past Volume 9*
If he were smart, he would realize NOT to blame the man she was with and blame her. She was responsible for her actions, not "the guy she had an affair with" *wink wink*

I love this manga so very much. I have all the 12 volumes and I couldn't get enough of it. I don't like Ryoki. I like Shinogu and Azusa instead. Hatsumi should have ended up with Shinogu, her adopted brother instead of the cocky, Ryoki. I always loved Shinogu better than Ryoki but it seems that Miki Aihara wanted Hatsumi and Ryoki to be together at the end. It is a shame that Shinogu became a priest at the end of the manga

. But no worries, there will be a "Hot Gimmick S" novel, which will be released in February and the ending will be different than the one in the manga . I think Hatsumi and Shinogu will be together in this one. Yay!!! I will definitely buy it.
I wish they will adapt anime from the manga and I also would like it if they can publish an illustration book for "Hot Gimmick." We should have more of Aihara's works in the states, don't you think so guys? I liked "Tokyo Boys & Girls" but "Hot Gimmick" is much better and it is my all time favorite.
