well, telling u words would be rather foolish, cuz the japanese language is difficult in its structure, lol

id happily type an introduction, but look around this board; u will find many topics similar to yours and find some informative introductions.

Not to be rude, but maybe narrow things down for us on where to start. What you're asking is a little...too broad. There's many points where we could work from.

And yeah...like OniRuroKen-san said, there's a lot of threads here that have a bit what you're asking for.

ok but...how do you say: dude, wolf, dog, dragon, and music in japanese? please sensei dude guys! please tell me!!!

Dude = datesha, dateotoko (I'm not too sure about this one...never looked up "dude" before)
Wolf = Oukami
Dog = Inu
Dragon = Ryuu/Tatsu
Music = Ongaku

If you're going to ask for more word translations, I think I should let OniRuroKen-san there have a go at things.

Woo...the "Inuyasha" name thing again. Wow. Brings back memories back on the [ adult swim ] forum...

Anyways, to make the short story even shorter, the "yasha" means "female demon", but Takahashi was just aiming for "demon".

There was an article on it some place for proof but I'm too lazy to look at the moment.

At first (from what I'm assuming), teaching yourself is a little hard, but you should get the hang of it.

Just remember that Japanese is a SOV format (Subject Object Verb) though and ours is SVO.
