Absolute Anime

Earlier the site was 404ed. Nothing was there. Even now it seems incomplete. May I ask what happened?

You may, But I won't tell . The short answer is below.

The actual problem was a hung NFS process. Certain html files were unavailable to all 3 of the web servers that make up AA.com. Anyways I unmounted the NFS shares on each of the servers and restarted the NFS service and then remounted all of the NFS shares again. This seemed to have fixed the problem.

I'm discussion with one of my tech's right now a more permenant solution to the problem. It appears that we might need to turn NFS locking off because these files are read only to the web servers. Right now locking is enabled. It is possible that this caused the problem.

Out alternate solution is to create a NFS cluster (since we have a couple servers laying around) and then set that up as the FTP locaiton for Ken and then map to that. It will give him high availability just in case we loose a server or two.

it's not imagionary!!! i just can't remember which one it was on. C-E-R-T-A-I-N. me and a friend were thinking of different word's that explained me. the first letter's for each word spelled out certain for me and silly for him. the (c)stood for crazy and the (s) stood for scary but we decicded to trade of are s and c to each other because scary suit's me better that crazy.so i decided to spell my sertain with an (s).and i hope you know that my name is said (Chee-may) as well. that's all.

xD. I'm Glad you made a quick fix to the issue. I was thinking that it was some DNS issue Of course, I've had a LOT of problems with the DNS here at school -.-;;;; You'd think a school of Geeks could fix that problem in less than 48 hours. -.-;
