Well it's because they ARE elitists. According to elitists in general everybody should conform to their way or they are not true fans of whatever they are elitists about. In this case, it is conformity to watching nothing but subtitled animes without any regard to how dubs can be good sometimes. The only thing is, these people never learn it is best just to ignore them and watch anime the way you want to.

Sorry but they are not elitists they are purists.
They like to see eveything in it's original form.

yeah purists though I doubt that because the orginal form is raws not subs but its really not something you can deal with you just have to ignore them and watch anime you're own way be it subbed, dubbed, raw or a combonation of the three

That's not right, they should respect the fact that people want to see english. These "purists are corrupt individuals, whose opinions need to be improved.....
