I've seen some episodes and have liked what I've seen. Just recently bought the complete collection. Can't wait to see it.

Currently half way through it. At the moment the plot is fuzzy at best. The two main characters are child hood friends that are reunited when Hinoke attends Kaiten's (?) school. Some incidents occur that lead them to discovering that there is a virus on the loose that can destroy mankind. There is a "lifeform" that they call Betterman who has the ability to adapt and overcome- sounds like the marines- an enemy or environment. It involves him eating a seed. What's more interesting is that he resembles someone.... what let that out and I think we find out who later on in the series.

Hopefully that's good enough for now for Dark Lily and everyone else.

The seed is called fortei.

That is just one of the names for the seed though. Betterman has three forms. A seed for each one.
