Missing Avatars

I temporarily disabled avatars. We are working to fix a problem with the forums. It appears that the forum dowloads all of the avatars on each page prior to sending the page to your browser so it can resize it. If there is a missing avatar then the system starts slowing down real fast. There are ways to fix this and we are going to look into them ASAP.

I added a mod a long while back that used getimagesize() to set the height and width attributes of the avatars. That's gotta be the issue right there. I've just removed this, so I guess we'll see if it helps or not.

Nice to know that there's a problem that is being fixed. Let us know when you've got a handle on the problem.
In the meantime, is there any way I can download a custom avatar for our profiles? I've made a cool Seras Victoria avatar from a screenshot from Hellsing Ultimate.

Sorry about that. However, I've been looking at the various topics, but recently I've created a swell Seras Victoria avatar. However, it's on my hard drive and I would love to put it on this forum, but there's no way I can download it to my profile. I dearly would like to use it in this forum.

Hm...Use a site called, "Imageshack"

There go follow the common sense directions, and it will upload it onto the internet and give you links to the image. I usually use the link that says, "Direct Link to Image" or whatever, copy and paste that into your avatar URL spot in your profile, you are set to fly.
Hope that is what ya wanted to know.
