Where does it ever say that he's 18 in the first series? Unless they slipped something into the dubbing, as far as I know, his age is "2nd year high school student", just like the other main characters. That means he could only be 14-16 years old to begin with.

i thought yugi and his friends are only 16 but kaiba is their classmate..could it be he's 2 years older than his classmates!

in the japanese yugi-oh kaiba is 16 just like the others...but 4 kids made him older...cause he runs a company and all...he's much taller than the rest, so the dubbers decided to give him like...18...so at the end of the anime he should be 20 years old...in the movie he's 21(the action takes place 3 years ...after he got he's butt kicked by yugi in the first episodes), and............in gx he's 28.......what's so unbelievable and freeky? look at pegasus...he's like 34+10=44 in gx? huh? maybe wikipedia is lying

Yea. I'm a Kaiba fan myself. Though I haven't seen him in Yu-Gi-Oh! G/X, I think he's 28. I've read it in a source from somewhere. But I had a lot of sources say Kaiba was 18 when the tv series started. So I guess it depends on ur sources.

i guess maybe because of the time difference of the seasons of the original yugioh plus the GX

He looks kinda the same, which is a little freaky, but not really since it's anime and you can't exactly expect him to look ten years older even though he's supposed to.

yeah..i agree. Anime chars tend to look the same whatever age they are. well, unless they're an old person that is.
