Friendship talks and other flaws of the Yu-Gi-Oh anime

I've noticed that many Yu-Gi-Oh fans (of both card-game and anime) don't like Tea/Anzu because you think that she gives too many friendship talks during the show. I thought that too. But lately when I have been watching the second season I've noticed, that just every single char (including Yami Yugi) always has this pointless friendship talks. I mean c'mmon! There are rare exceptions who don't constantly babble about ˝We're gonna do it cuz we are friends and we stay together..blah blah˝ Those are.. hmm.. let me think.. wait I know it! It's Duke Devlin and Seto Kaiba (and even Kaiba would probably do it if it wasn't for his arrogant attitude anyway..). So I've come to the conclusion that I'm not going to judge Tea anymore for having these silly friendship talks, cause in my opinion she's no different than the rest.
And another thing. Beside the friendship talks have you noticed that all the battles go in the same way? I mean if Yami Yugi/Joey is battling all of his peers cheer him up with the, again, friendship talks, and not just that! Did you notice that May is the one who always doubts things?! I have nothing against her eventhough she is one of my least favourite chars, but still in almost every battle it's the same. May goes: ˝I don't think Yugi/Joey is going to win this, I think that this time, it's just too much for him...˝ And then all the others go OMG no! And start with the friendship talks again. Sometimes I think if it wasn't for the great story-line and mythology inserts in the anime.. it would be preety hard for me to keep watching it.
Hmm.. was there something else I wanted to say.. Oh yeah *relative fights*. Now isn't kind of pathetic that Joey is always fighting for his sister Serenety. I mean it's sweet and all (esp in the first season it was and back then Joey even had a reason, no offense Joey fans), but I think it has gone a bit too far. I mean what's wrong with battling for yourself. Joey's reasons for battling wouldn't bother me so much if it wasn't for him and Yami Yugi who were nagging Mai in the first season because she was fighting for herself (remember, she wanted to have to money so she could buy herself clothes and cosmetics..). I mean if a person fights in fair way and is over all a decent person, I see nothing wrong in doing so.
